Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to guide department associates in merchandising, customer service and daily operations. Under supervision of the Group Sales or Department Manager, you will direct staff, manage task lists, and ensure a strong customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will support achievement of sales goals, maintain pricing integrity, and assist in staff hiring and training. The role requires 2–4 years in retail and some supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 to 4 years in Retail Sales experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily direction to department associates to achieve sales and service goals.
• Support departmental sales, gross margin, inventory shrinkage and payroll goals.
• Prepare to-do and task lists and execute merchandising directives.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and pricing per Corporate Office.
• Provide a pleasant, productive shopping experience for customers.
• Assist GSM/DM/HR to staff the department and participate in interviews and training.
• Coach and motivate associates to promote customer relations and teamwork.
• Conduct product demos and stay a product expert.
