Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in the United States is seeking a Team Leader to direct daily department operations, including merchandising, inventory control, pricing, and customer service. The role reports to the Group Sales or Department Manager and requires supervising associates, staffing, and training to maintain a service‑oriented team.

Requires a high school diploma and 2–4 years of retail supervisory experience, plus strong PC skills and merchandising knowledge.

Qualifications

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2 to 4 years in Retail Sales Supervisory experience is a plus.
Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets and POS systems.

Responsibilities

Direct daily direction to department associates and ensure service standards.
Maintain merchandising directives and plan-o-grams set by Corporate.
Staff the department, train associates and prepare weekly work schedules.
Achieve department goals in sales, gross margin and inventory control.
Provide a legendary customer service experience and handle issues with management.
