Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Akron, OH is seeking a Store Lead to drive an exceptional customer experience and mentor front-end Associates. You will lead by example, promote loyalty programs, and maintain an organized store environment.

This role requires strong merchandising knowledge, multi-tasking ability, and leadership experience in retail. You will train staff, coordinate POS coverage, and ensure compliance with policies while supporting safety and shrink reduction goals.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Able to train others.
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience by leading front-of-store team.
• Oversees a team of Associates at front of store.
• Promotes loyalty and credit programs.
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates execute tasks according to store plan and priorities.
• Communicates with management and Associates about priorities and progress updates.
• Promotes safety awareness and adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Trains and mentors Associates on front-end principles.
