Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Retail Associate to greet customers and ensure they have a positive shopping experience. You will help with merchandise, maintain clean, organized departments, and follow safety and loss-prevention guidelines.

The role requires friendly customer service, basic math for transactions, and the ability to stand for extended periods while assisting customers across departments.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by greeting and assisting them warmly.
• Maintain safety and secure shopping environment; report unsafe conditions to leadership.
• Assist customers with merchandise, answer questions, and provide courteous, knowledgeable service.
• Keep a clean, well-merchandised store by restocking, cleaning, and organizing work areas.
• Follow MOS, POS, and cash-handling procedures, and participate in loss-prevention awareness.
