Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, maintain a clean, safe store, and represent the Ross brand with professionalism on the sales floor.

You will follow company best practices, support loss prevention, handle transactions, and work collaboratively with teammates to keep shelves stocked and presentation at monthly standards.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers with eye contact, a smile and a hello, and assist with merchandise as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clutter-free sales floor and report unsafe conditions to leadership.
• Provide prompt, courteous service and resolve Customer questions on the floor or at the register.
• Represent the Ross brand and adhere to the dress code and company standards.
• Assist with cleaning, stocking, shelf replenishment, and merchandise presentation.
• Follow MOS and loss prevention guidelines and protect confidential information.
• Support cash handling, refunds, and transactional procedures with accuracy.
• Work with teammates to maintain daily store standards and productivity.
