Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. operates Michaels Stores, a leading arts and crafts retailer. This position requires delivering friendly customer service, assisting shoppers, and ensuring fast checkout at a busy store in Plymouth, MA.

Responsibilities include stock, truck unload, BOPIS/SFS support, and adherence to SOPs to maintain an inviting, in-stock environment. Team members must be able to stand long hours, lift and move merchandise, and participate in store recovery efforts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards; complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain stock and recover merchandise to ensure an in-stock store.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs and company policies.
