Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Southington, CT is hiring a team member to assist customers, stock shelves, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include helping customers locate products, processing transactions to standards, participating in truck unloads, and supporting store recovery and in-stock performance.

The role requires ability to stand long hours, lift boxes, and work nights, weekends, and early mornings; prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
