Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a welcoming shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness while upholding safety standards.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is optional.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
