Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a welcoming shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help stock and maintain shelves.

The role includes unloading trucks, replenishing stock, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment. The position emphasizes excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle physical duties such as lifting 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and restocking.
• Other duties as assigned.
