Job summary

Family Dollar LLC in Modesto, CA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist with questions, handle transactions, and keep the store organized and safe.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work at a cash register. Prior retail or service experience is preferred and strong communication is essential. Part-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Keep store clean including bathrooms, floors, trash, and restrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
