Job summary

Family Dollar Here is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and keep the store well-stocked and orderly.

This part-time role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, following procedures, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and coworkers. Training and opportunities for growth are available in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent movement and lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment
