Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Indiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Rockville, IN. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, safe store.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods. We offer a supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.Other duties as assigned.
