Job summary

Family Dollar is hiring a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist shoppers with questions and recommendations, process sales at the register, and help keep the store safe and well-stocked.

You’ll also unload deliveries, stock merchandise, clean and present the store, and act with professionalism and friendliness toward customers, colleagues, and leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
