Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Bridgeport, CT is hiring for a store team member. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You’ll unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock. Position requires physical work, availability for nights/weekends/early mornings, and familiarity with rewards programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop our store
• Operate cash register and ensure fast, friendly checkout
• Complete truck unloading and stock merchandise to keep aisles organized
• Maintain store recovery standards and execute planograms (POGs)
• Provide information about rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Assist with omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs
