Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and handle frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms; sweep and mop floors; take out trash.
