Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store clean and stocked.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with duties including merchandise handling, safety, and daily store maintenance. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or pharmacy environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful store environment.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
