Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a part-time position with opportunities to engage customers and support store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
