Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and benefits described by the employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise to maintain productivity standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and teammates.
