Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Painesville, Ohio, to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions, and maintain store appearance.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and reliability, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Retail experience is preferred and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs., frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
