Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help stock and unload merchandise while maintaining a safe, friendly store environment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, with opportunities to contribute to store operations and customer satisfaction daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store stocked and merchandise recovered.
• Assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas neat.
