Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience and help customers with questions and recommendations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentable areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
