Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP in Crofton, Kentucky is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You’ll assist shoppers, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store.

This role requires customer service experience, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and follow store procedures. Part-time hours provide a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness store-wide, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
