Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, restock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Join our team on Johns Island and contribute to friendly, efficient service. This role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time positions available at 3575 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island, SC 29455.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform cleaning and restocking of bathrooms; sweep and mop floors; take out trash.
