Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store stocked and secure.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced retail setting. Part-time employment with opportunities for growth is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
