Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, maintain store cleanliness, and protect assets while providing friendly, professional service. This part-time role at our Williamston location offers opportunities to develop in retail and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
