Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions, keep the store stocked and clean, and maintain a safe, friendly environment.

The position is part-time and located in North, South Carolina. We value reliable, customer-focused team members who can lift up to 50 lbs and support daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
