Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store in Timmonsville, SC.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with responsibilities spanning hospitality, stock, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail customer service experience in various environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste areas.
• Other duties as assigned*.
