Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide excellent service and a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload deliveries, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining safety and professionalism on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
