Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Dalzell, SC to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock and unload merchandise, and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, with opportunities to grow within a national retailer and participate in available benefits and perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent movement and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned*.
