Job summary

Family Dollar seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain security of cash, stock shelves, unload trucks, and ensure a clean, safe store environment.

The role values strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions while maintaining professional interactions with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for replenishment.
• Provide a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
