Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. MSP-EAGAN, MN store is hiring a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Responsibilities include helping customers, handling cash, promoting rewards programs, supporting omnichannel processes, and following SOPs. Must be 16+ and able to work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock levels; manage returns/go back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
