Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide excellent shopping experiences. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions, and help unload trucks while keeping shelves stocked and store areas clean.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with previous retail or related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions on assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas neat.
