Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and orderly.

This part-time role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with a focus on friendly, efficient customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of standing, walking, bending, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and assist with merchandise recovery.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Provide a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
