Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include assisting customers, processing sales, restocking, unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), prior retail or service experience, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. This is a part-time, on-site position at our Benton store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash; ensure neat areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
