Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail customer service experience. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and strong communication skills. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
