Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe while maintaining friendly interactions with customers and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and retail/customer service experience is highly valued. Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work at a cash register is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods, with frequent climbing and bending.
• Excellent customer service, organization and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
