Job summary

Family Dollar in Bellevue, Kentucky seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, restock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness while following company procedures.

The role requires reliability, strong communication, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time schedule with opportunities for professional growth may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
