Job summary

Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and a focus on safety and quality in retail construction throughout California and the western United States. You will manage site activities, read plans, conduct daily client and team meetings, and document progress with StruXure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role.
• 3+ years in retail/building/remodeling industries.
• Proficient math and take-off skills.
• Able to read construction documents.
• StruXure proficiency is a plus.
• Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving history required.
• OSHA 10 and CPR certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee onboarding, safety training, and daily progress reporting.
• Read plans, inspect progress, and coordinate with subs on schedule.
• Hold subcontractors to safety standards and manage RFIs and change orders.
• Travel to project locations as needed for critical phases.
