Job summary

Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel on retail projects across California and the western United States.

You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with precise documentation and strict safety adherence. You will read plans, coordinate trades, hold daily meetings, file RFIs, and report progress using StruXure and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a construction superintendent
• 3+ years building/remodeling in retail/hospitality/fuel stations/open-store remodels (last 5 years)
• Proficient in MS Office; StruXure a plus
• Valid CA driver’s license and good driving history; travel required
• OSHA 10 and CPR certification a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Lead site team and supervise up to ~140 personnel daily
• Read job plans and inspect progress during walks
• Document progress and send daily reports to Project Team
• Coordinate all subcontractors to schedule work and maintain schedule
• Conduct daily meetings with clients, EW Builders team and inspectors
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations; keep projects accident-free
• Create, submit, and track RFIs and responses to identify scope changes
• Travel to project sites as required; manage multiple locations
