Albertsons Companies is seeking a construction/project manager to oversee store developments from initiation to grand opening. You will coordinate with contractors, operations and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

The role requires strong project management, the ability to manage multiple stores simultaneously, and travel up to 40%. Office is in a dynamic retail environment with a focus on safe, compliant store openings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Science, Civil Engineering or Construction/Project Manager or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and plan, organize and schedule time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage assigned area/projects from start of construction through grand opening.
• Drive projects from the ground up, coordinating with contractors, operations and internal departments.
• Ensure projects meet time, cost and quality standards and obtain occupancy licenses.
• Review contractor payments and approve schedules for construction, equipment deliveries and inspections.
• Assemble and approve bidder lists; conduct contractor performance evaluations; participate in disaster recovery planning.
