Job summary

Brixmor is seeking a hands-on Project Manager based in Orlando, FL, to oversee retail development and redevelopment for the South region. You will lead tenant improvements, capital projects, and select ground-up initiatives across company-owned and managed centers, coordinating with national retailers, architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial retail construction or shopping center development.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects in owner/developer/retail environments.
• Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of retail construction projects.
• Serve as primary construction partner for tenants from lease execution to store opening.
• Manage landlord work and tenant improvements to meet lease obligations on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with national/ regional retailers to support project delivery and store openings.
• Review and negotiate lease exhibits and provide budgeting/constructability input.
• Oversee due diligence, permitting, and consultant coordination.
• Direct architects/engineers/contractors to meet milestones and budgets.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Property Management, Leasing, Development, Legal, and Finance teams.
