Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Store Associate in a LA-TUSTIN/JAMBOREE, CA area role. You will perform cleaning, stocking, and basic customer service duties, upholding store standards and safety guidelines while engaging with customers and team members.

The role emphasizes cleaning responsibilities, shopping assistance, and adherence to SOPs, with expectations to support omni-channel processes and contribute to a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or store environment.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks with assigned materials and equipment.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and other high traffic areas.
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
