Job summary

Michaels Stores is hiring at the Tulsa store for a team member responsible for cleaning and upkeep of the sales floor, backroom, and common areas. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.

Ideal candidates have retail or cleaning experience, strong work ethic, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting, bending, and moving items as needed. Training includes SOP adherence and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for cleaning and returns them to correct locations.
• Cleans assigned areas with approved materials and equipment.
• Deep cleans key areas (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways) to maintain a clean, safe store.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative.
• Performs tasks in accordance with SOPs and company policies.
