Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an store associate in a dynamic retail environment in the Los Angeles County area. You will maintain cleanliness, assist customers, and support operations such as BOPIS and Ship from Store while upholding brand standards.

Ideal candidates have retail or cleaning experience, can stand for long periods, and are available for varied shifts including nights and weekends. Benefits and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to uphold Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Dust and damp mop floors according to procedures.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and re-placement.
• Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms and breakrooms.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
