Job summary

The UPS Store center is seeking a Center Manager to run day-to-day operations, open/close, supervise staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will monitor costs, prepare weekly/monthly reports, drive profit and loss, and lead business development initiatives at the State College location.

The ideal candidate will have college coursework or a degree, two years of retail operations experience, strong leadership, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Post high school education or college coursework.
• Two years of retail store operations experience.
• Strong supervisory/leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent computer/internet/software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversees personnel management: recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching.
• Plans work assignments and leads weekly/monthly staff meetings.
• Monitors customer service delivery and satisfaction levels.
• Develops and implements store marketing programs.
• Manages Center financials and prepares reports.
• Oversees inventory and payroll timing processes.
• Ensures store maintenance, safety, and organization.
• Operates print equipment at off-site locations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
