Job summary

The UPS Store #1005 is seeking a Center Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our Lancaster retail location. You will open/close the center, lead the team, monitor costs, and provide weekly/monthly reports to the franchise owner.

You must motivate the staff to deliver world-class service to every customer. The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education, two years of retail ops experience, strong supervisory skills, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education completed (college coursework or degree).
• Two years of retail store operations experience.
• Strong supervisory/leadership skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.

Responsibilities

• Performs personnel management, which includes recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates
• Schedules work assignments and facilitates weekly or monthly staff meetings
• Monitors, evaluates and maximizes customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Develops and implements the store marketing program
• Manages Center financials and prepares/provides reporting
• Manages inventory
• Reviews daily employee timesheets and submits for payroll processing
• Oversees Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Performs other duties as assigned
