Job summary

Family Dollar is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales, and help with stock replenishment and store upkeep.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prior retail or customer service experience. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales at the cash register and handle transactions.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock replenishment and merchandise recovery.
• Unload merchandise and stock shelves per productivity standards.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors.
