Job summary

Michaels Dayton is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will load trucks, stock shelves, and keep the store well-merchandised to meet our brand promises.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions to standard, promoting rewards programs, and supporting omni-channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS. Flexible hours apply, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods; lift heavy boxes; climb ladders or access high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Execute cash handling to standards at checkout
• Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery; complete go-back process
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and colleagues positively and professionally
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
