Job summary

FNB Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support branch leadership and sales team performance. You will drive customer satisfaction, promote cross-selling, and manage daily branch operations with a focus on referrals and service excellence.

You will coach staff, assist with scheduling, ensure policy compliance, and process teller transactions as needed while building a strong referral network and delivering banking solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with personal computer and banking software.
• Knowledge of banking policies, consumer products and services.
• Sales and customer service skills.
• Licensure in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the sales process through referral management, leveraging leads and outbound calling.
• Assist with managing daily sales activity and coaching branch staff.
• Input and maintain data quality for referrals, customers, and applicants using branch technology.
• Perform traditional teller transactions as needed.
• Coordinate and complete operational duties: scheduling, workflow, supplies, vault cash, opening/closing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and company policies.
