Job summary

Beacon Bank is seeking a Branch Manager I for the Bedford, MA area. This exempt/officer role leads a retail branch, drives sales, deposits, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

You will mentor staff, cultivate new business, and ensure service standards across all touchpoints. Responsibilities include managing business development, coaching teams, and ensuring adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of banking or management/supervisory experience.
• Proven results in a goal-oriented sales or customer service environment.
• Outside business development skills.
• Strong sales, management, and team leadership abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of bank operations, systems, and compliance.
• Experience working with commercial customers and lenders.
• Proficient knowledge of cash management products.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Branch Leadership & Business Development: Manage, grow and retain branch deposits and revenues; Create strategies to meet business development objectives; Engage customers and develop relationships; Advise customers on product selection and tailored solutions; Participate in outbound campaigns and community involvement.
• Customer Relationship Management: Provide outstanding customer experience; Coach and motivate branch colleagues; Educate and assist customers with digital banking; Handle complex customer issues and resolve service concerns.
• Branch Operations & Compliance: Oversee branch operations audit; Follow policies ensuring security and confidentiality; Ensure compliance with banking regulations; Manage daily branch operations and documentation for new accounts and loan requests.
• Leadership & Talent Development: Provide effective leadership and coaching; Foster an inclusive, productive team; Responsible for hiring and performance management; Conduct staff meetings and training.
